Whole blood, 4ml EDTA (red top) bottle. Samples for Sirolimus are only accepted Mon-Thurs, please DO NOT collect samples for sirolimus on Fridays. Outside of this samples should be sent directly to the referral centre. Upon arrival in the laboratory the whole blood sample is stored refrigerated prior to referral. Do not centrifuge. Due to sample stability, samples should be sent by next-day delivery to the referral laboratory. |
