Related Tests

The following tests are carried out by or referred by other sections of the Pathology Laboratory at Peterborough, however where appropriate clinical interpretation from an Immunologist is given.

Haematology:

  • B cell markers (limited profile)
  • Lymphocyte subsets (T,B, NK Cells)
  • HLA-B27

Clinical Biochemistry:

  • Bence-Jones Protein (urine electrophoresis and immunofixation)                 
  • Complement C3 and C4
  • Cryoglobulins (Special sample collection procedures apply - see here for details)
  • Immunoglobulin levels (Total IgA, IgG & IgM)
  • Rheumatoid factor
  • Serum electrophoresis and immunofixation
  • Serum free light chains
  • Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) antibodies
