Cholinesterase Phenotype
Pseudocholinesterase, suxamethonium sensitivity test, BCASE
2 x EDTA (Red top tube) store refrigerated before referral. Samples should not be taken during a period of suxamethonium induced apnoea, take once awake and breathing unaided.

This test is referred to another centre for analysis: Cholinesterase Investigation Unit
