Test indications |
Used in cases of drug induced lupus, where patient are more likely to have antibodies directed against the histone moiety of the nucleoprotein complex than to the dsDNA. Drugs implicated in DIL include hydralazine, procainamide and isoniazid. Antibodies can be found in patients with SLE, lupus nephritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
